ICR Research Facilities

In the Divisions of Structural and Cancer Biology, we are supported by Facility Managers who assist us in many aspects of our work. Local Facilities include Baculovirus, Biophysics, X-ray Crystallography, Cryo-EM, Computing, Proteomics and Light Microscopy. Laboratory Services provide media, key reagents and glassware.

Local Electron Microscopy Facilities

The managed ICR EM Facility provides access to local Tecnai T12 and F20 microscopes, and a state-of-the-art FEI Glacios/Falcon 4 microscope. We are members of the London Consortium for Electron Microscopy (LonCEM), which hosts a Titan Krios/K3 instrument based at the Francis Crick Institute.

Electron Bio-Imaging Centre (eBIC)

We are part of a user group for the Electron Bio-Imaging Centre (eBIC) at the Diamond Light Source and have access to high-end Titan Krios microscopes for data collections.
